"We have met with the project manager from PT Waskita Karya to discuss the stages of preparation for the launch of a rural road project from the Neo-Fefan bridge to Oe-Nunu," Bano told the journalists in Oe-Kusi Ambeno, Wednesday, August 03, 2022.

Bano added that the process of repairing rural roads will cause a slight problem with community land property but he has sent two members, the State Secretary for administrative affairs and land affairs, to resolve the matter.

“In the meeting, the technical experts from PT Waskita Karya conveyed only two things. The first is to immediately launch and sign the work contract, and the second is about the expansion of the road that will affect community land, but I have already set up my team to take care of that. I believe that the community will not create a big problem because they also really need good road conditions,” Bano explained.

Project Manager of PT Waskita Karya, Putu Hari promised to involve local workers in this rural road repair project.

"This project 50 percent will find local workers to work on this road project, but we are still coordinating with our technicians to determine how many local workers are needed," said Putu.

Meanwhile, the road condition from Tono to the Bobometo village in Oe-Silo sub-district has been very bad since the Indonesian colonial era until today but Bano has promised that the tender results for the road project to the area will be announced next week.
