COVID-19: Nadia Oematan Donates 80 Watermelons to People in Quarantine

Oekusipost.com Ambeno - Nadia Oabung Heywood has distributed 80 watermelons to people who are in compliance with quarantine for 14 days in several shelters in Oe-Kusi Ambeno.

Around there are 4 shelters in the enclave and Nadia had divided the watermelon in two places, at the Lifau Hotel and the Five Star Hotel in Oel-Upun. Hotel-Lifau gets 24, and Five-Star Hotels get 56. Nadia shares the watermelon for free, because the garden is so full of watermelons in Mahata.

"Now the government does not have money, people only eat plain rice and vegetables, lack nutrition. The government does not provide good nutrition, so I told my father to give watermelon fruit donations to them to eat, "Nadia explained via cell phone to Oe-Kusi Post, Thursday 9 April 2020.
