DILI (TOP) - The President of the Republic, J. Ramos-Horta, made his first visit to ETO TOWER, which serves as the headquarters of the ETO GROUP company, in the Mandarin area of Dili.
According to information that The Oe-Kusi Post accessed from the Official Page of the Presidential Palace that, President Ramos-Horta's presence was intended to show appreciation for the investment initiative by a native Timorese citizen who leads the ETO GROUP, Nilton Telmo Gusmão.
The initiative has become a major success, demonstrating that the Timorese themselves are now fully capable of participating in the entrepreneurial world with significant financial capital.
Furthermore, President Ramos-Horta also appeared on a program for NTV and Radio RAFA—media channels affiliated with the ETO GROUP—to discuss the broadcasting of the 2026 World Cup, which will be aired in Timor-Leste through the NTV and RTTL, EP channels.
Therefore, the Head of State invited football fans in Timor-Leste to continue maintaining peace and stability in their respective communities, so that they can display the Timorese people's excitement for the World Cup in the Americas, which will be held next month.
