DILI (TOP) - The Criminal Investigation Service Police arrested 90 foreign citizens from Indonesia and China in Scam Call Center and Online Game in Ulmera, Likisa, and Comoro-Dili on Monday, July 13, 2026.
At the time of the security authorities' action, the suspects were cheating some customers who had managed to transfer some money to the bank account of the Scam Call Center. Of the 90 citizens, 76 were arrested in Ulmera and 14 were arrested in Comoro, Dili.

According to a report from the Timor-Leste Radio and Television (RTTL) team, security authorities also managed to seize a number of facilities used in this illegal activity.
These suspected foreign citizens, the police have ensured to submit to the investigation process.
Data from the security authorities that, during the last two months, managed to close five Scam Call Centers and Onlige Game in Dili and Likisa.
