COVID-19: The positive Patients Increasing

 

Oekusipost.com Dili – About 7 Timorese are currently positive of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) after conducting a laboratory test, but there are already 8 people in the isolation room at the health center of Vera Cruz. 

Coordinator of the COVID-19 Task Force for Prevention and Mitigation, doctor Sergio Lobo said positive cases had now increased to 7 people and all citizens of Timor-Leste. 

The former health minister added that the seven now have intensive care in the Vera Cruz isolation room, and their actual condition is in good health.  

"Today has increased to 8, one has recovered and only 7 people are still receiving intensive care in the isolation room," he stated through a press conference at the Dili Convention Center on Wednesday 15 April 2020.  

Meanwhile, on Wednesday 15 April 2020 at 9 pm the ambulance team evacuated another patient from the Fortuna-Hotel in Surik-Mas to the isolation room. So the total number of patients who are now in the isolation room are 8 people. 

According to official data from the Integrated Center for Crisis Management on April 15, 2020 shows that there are 564 people still in quarantine, and 1337 people are free from quarantine, there are 210 people suspected, and there are 29 people who are waiting for the results of laboratory tests, there are probably 6 people, there are 7 positive cases, 167 people have negative results, and one person has recovered.
